9. Scholarship support
Scholarships are generally only available to applicants undertaking a HDR on a full-time basis. More information about higher degree by research
scholarships is available at www.utas.edu.au/research/graduate-research/scholarships
9.1 Domestic higher degree research candidates do not pay tuition fees during their candidature. Scholarship support is available for living allowances.

The University of Tasmania has funding to assist with fees for school-age dependents of international HDR candidates. The funding is provided for English
language assistance and the dependents must be attending a State Government school in Tasmania.
