Property in the Recession
An Ethical Property Foundation Seminar
Organised in partnership with charity specialists Triodos Bank, Stone King Sewell Solicitors, Williams
Gunter and Hardwick, Chartered Surveyors and Quattro Design Architects
Wednesday 29th April, 10am-2pm
The Training Room, Stone King Sewell LLP, 18 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HJ
The current economic situation is creating major challenges for community and voluntary groups, which find themselves
caught between heightened demand for their services on one hand, and funding freezes and even cuts on the other.
The right premises can be a major asset for organisations, whilst the wrong ones can be a risk. It is more important than
ever that trustees set a clear strategy for their organisation, and make sure that its property holdings are right for the
delivery of that strategy.
This practical, half-day seminar will explore the property-related challenges and opportunities created by the recession.
The sessions will be highly interactive, encouraging groups to think about strategy around existing property assets and
how to take advantage of opportunities that arise.
