Catalogue update for the Reduction Sale of The Gro Herd at
Stratford Livestock Auctions on Saturday 25th July 2015
Mr Arwyn Davies has instructed Kivells to conduct his second reduction sale at
Stratford Livestock Auctions.
The cattle are all within the SAC Premium Health Scheme and registered free of
BVD (and vaccinated) and Level 2 Johnes. Mr Davies has had no reason to
vaccinate for Lepto.
Before the decision to further reduce cow numbers had been made, Mr Davies had
elected to move to an all spring calving system. It was a conscious decision not to
put the bulls back in with the cows until the 23 rd June 2015, aiming for a tight calving
pattern. Below is an updated list of which bulls have ran with which cows.
