Bruce Fite Bio Bruce Fite has been an elementary general/choral music teacher since 1999. In addition to teaching, he is also a singer/songwriter specializing in children’s music. Bruce has performed at many local and regional events, from storytelling festivals to world record holding chicken barbeques. He teams up regularly with FM 90.3 WJTL for various concert events. He has also been featured in the line up of Dutch Wonderland’s Reader’s Jamboree and Christian Family Fest in Lancaster, PA, Hershey Park’s Christian Family Day, and Creation Festival East, one of the nation’s largest Christian music festivals. Bruce worked with Creative Soul Records in Nashville, TN to record “Live What I Teach” and “That John Deere.” On his two current children’s albums you’ll find many styles such as: country-bluegrass, pop, rock, folk, rap and other genres. When he’s not singing or spending time with his family, you’ll find Bruce teaching K-5th grade general and choral music, tuning pianos, and enjoying time with friends. In fact, Bruce's elementary school students are usually his first “audience” for new educational and silly songs! His music is genuinely “kid-tested and approved." Kids also love the Bruce’s children’s book based on the hit song “Don’t Put Your Cat in the Washing Machine.” If you’ve ever been to one of his concerts, or purchased one of his CD’s, then you’ve gotten the chance to experience Bruce doing what he does best: teaching through his music, and having a ton of fun in the process.
