Learner Portal
LES Branded Portal
(Standard)
The client has the option to have the learner access an LES branded
portal.
Co-branded Portal
(Customized)
The learner portal can be co-branded to display both the client and
LES logos with LES feel, colours and contact information.
Single Sign-On (Customized)
The learner can sign into the client’s portal and will be transferred to
the Loyalist Connect system when they click to schedule an exam.
The client’s system can pass the data required over to the Loyalist
Connect Portal.
Exam Delivery Methods
Web-Based
Paper Based Exams
All LES exams are delivered via the web.
By exception, paper-based exams can be processed using an
alternate system of delivery.

Customized Client Fees
Clients have the option of learners paying for their exam directly to
LES.
Clients have the option of paying for learner exams through the use of
an LCS provided Authorization code.
When the learner completes the scheduling process, an invoice will be
created and put in the queue for the next invoice period.
Clients will be invoiced for the following, as appropriate:
1) Initial Setup Fee
2) Exam Fees - unless paid for directly by learner
3) Maintenance Fee
4) New Questions/Exams Uploading Fee
5) Late Payment Fee - %
6) Exam Cancellation Fees
7) Exam Rescheduling Fees
8) No Show Fees
Clients have the option of daily, weekly or monthly invoicing.

Description
Payment methods available to clients in order to pay invoices are:
 Cheque
 Wire transfer
 Money order
 Visa or MasterCard
Clients have the option with Loyalist Connect to make payments with
Visa and MasterCard within their web portal.

Our live online proctor service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, 365 days a year. The service is provided by our trained
proctors.
Client chooses the proctor themselves and does not use the LES
proctor.
Learner chooses the proctor themselves and does not use the LES
proctor.
If the client chooses, LES can administer exams with no proctors
required. All communication regarding the exam session will be sent
to the learner directly. This method can be augmented by remote
proctoring.
Authorization Codes
Authorization Codes
The client has the option to use Authorization Codes. The client must
agree that it is their responsibility to give Authorization Codes only to
qualified learners.
Authorization Codes can be distributed to individual learners to
purchase an exam. The client will receive an invoice for the exam
once the exam is scheduled.
Learner Certificates
E-Certificates
The client has the option to provide an e-certificate to the learner
through the LES learner web portal once they have passed the exam.
LES would require the certificate layout in electronic form.

Exams with Randomized
Questions
Question Bank
Static refers to exam papers where the questions always appear to the
learner in the same order.
List of exam questions that are randomized thereby creating multiple
exams.
A bank of exam questions can be provided to LES and exam papers
can be generated using an algorithm.

Exam Verification
Description
All clients will be required to verify exam content once it has been
entered into the LES System. This will allow clients to provide final
approval.

Yes/No
The learner selects true or false.
The learner selects the correct answer where only one answer is
correct.
The learner is awarded a given number of points for the answer
chosen. An example of a multiple choice with points is as follows: the
best answer is worth 5 marks, the second best is worth 3 marks, the
third best answer is worth 1 mark and the distracter is worth 0 marks.
Similar to multiple choice questions except the learner is not limited to
selecting only one answer.
The learner answers by typing their answer. These answers can then
be provided to the client in PDF format so the client’s Subject Matter
Experts can mark the exam papers.
The learner selects yes or no as their answer.

LES clients have the option of providing either pass/fail and/or the
learner’s score on the screen at the end of the exam.
LES can send the learner results once the exam final results have
been confirmed and entered in Loyalist Connect.

to the client’s database

Scenarios
Breaks
Reporting Services
Scenarios include additional information that is reviewed during the
exam. Scenarios are not provided before the exam. Depending on
the security required for the scenarios, they can be printed by the
learner for easy review and to make notes during the exam.
LES can allow learners to have breaks while taking an exam, if
allowed by the client. The length of breaks along with the rules would
need to be communicated to the proctor. The proctor would allow the
learner to take a break as outlined in the rules.

Reports can be made available to LES clients through their Loyalist
Connect Portal so the client can choose the reporting criteria and
fields. Reports can consist of learner, exam and organization data.

LES can provide clients with scheduled reports via email. Reports can

Aberrant Behaviour

The report outlines the number of exams that have been taken within a
specified period of time.
The report provides exam question pass rate information as well as
overall pass rate information.
This report can be made available to the learner and individual with
the learner’s score and break down by question categories.
This report will provide pass rates based on question categories. This
will help clients determine if questions have issues.
This report will provide any incidents of aberrant behavior, the action
used to correct the behavior and preventive action if required.
Specific unique reporting needs of an individual client.
Fees
Setup
This is the initial setup fee the client will pay based on the preferences
selected from this service catalogue. A range will be provided before
on boarding begins. A percentage of the lower estimated setup fee
will be billed at the beginning of the on boarding process and the
remainder will be billed at the completion of on boarding.
Maintenance
A fee to allow your solution to have all major and minor system
upgrades.
When a new question or exam needs to be made available.
Learners can use Client-Paid Authorization Codes to purchase their
exam. Once the learner’s exam is marked, an invoice will be sent to
the client for the exam.
