Introduction
After the industrial revolution, many kinds if pollution exist and become one of the most serious problems in
our planet as the level of pollution of all cause an especially great impact to the world. For example, air
pollution, water pollution and greenhouse effect. If we let this kind of situation endure, the humans will lose all
the priceless natural resources, so we should decide some solution to save our world.
Air pollution
In late 18th century, the industrial revolution occurred in the United Kingdom. The whole world became a huge
factory. Every country developed their own industry rapidly. Air pollution has existed since that period of times
and the situation has remained up to now. The reason of industries affecting the world is they will produce a lot
of exhaust gas which contains many toxic chemicals. You may want to know how serious a problem the gases
will cause. The answer is as simple as one plus one. You can go to the western parts of Hong Kong and you will
never see some long-distance objects clearly there. Why? It is because there is a fog which is formed from the
air pollutants of the factories on the Mainland. Actually, the solutions are obvious, force the factories to install
some filters of exhaust gas and close the factory which produce too many pollutants. After installing the filters
and closing those factories, the air will carry less air pollutants and the sky will become clear again. These two
methods are efficient and easy to apply, so I strongly request the government do so.
Water pollution
Do you know how much sewage you produce each day? It seems to be an easy question but no one can answer.
If you want to know, just remember how much water you use when you are having a bath, washing clothes or
waste. The amount of sewage is very large. Besides residential sewage, industrial sewage is also a main source
of water pollution. You may think the sewage is only some dirty water but this idea is absolutely wrong. That
sewage carries many harmful chemicals which can kill the marine animals and destroy their ecosystem. I think
the best solution is the government should treat that sewage before it enters the sea. The government can build
some sewage treatment center. It may be expensive but it can save our world. Also, the government can force
the factories to treat the sewage first.
