Mission Statement
The purpose of the Indiana Trail Riders
Association is to promote trail riding and
equine activities in Indiana and the
surrounding area. The ITRA is involved
on the local, state and national
levels striving to promote and improve
trails and campgrounds.
We work actively educating the public of
the value of our parks and trails as well
as sponsoring and organizing workdays
on several recreational properties in the
hope that the natural beauty we
enjoyed on horseback will be available
for future.

Mission Statement
To create and stimulate interest in horses
and riding, to sponsor functions pertaining
to horses. These horse related interests
would help make better citizens, sponsor
wholesome community recreation, provide
family activity and help build moral
character.
Are partnering to provide a fund
raising event to support horse
campground and trail
construction, repair and
maintenance projects.
Event will be held at Deam Lake SRA
Borden, Indiana - Horse Camp.
All usual camping fees will apply.
Pitch-In Dinner donation $10.00

All proceeds go to Trail Maintenance
Fund for Deam/Clark Horse Trails.

Ride on your own. Riders can ride all
morning and into the late afternoon.
Saturday 6:00pm. Pitch-In Dinner,
meat provided. Bring your own
refreshments.
After dinner we will have a meet and
greet with everyone. ITRA will be
speaking about latest information
about Horse Trails and campgrounds
in Clark State Forest, Deam Lake area
and across the State. This fund raiser
is to help share information with
horse riders and campers about how
clubs and individuals can help with
horse trail maintenance, repairs and
be a helping hand to the DNR, State
Parks and Forestry.
ITRA will also be introducing everyone
to
“Midwest Equine Trail Foundation”
We will have speakers from Daniel
Boone Distance Riders and Pekin
Saddle Club.
We are inviting all horse clubs and
horse riders around southern Indiana
to attend this event.

for this fund raiser)
DNR will be collecting at campsites.
