ATTENTION: ALL 9-11th Graders
Attend the Honors/AP Student Informational Meeting, during lunch today in the Auditorium.
Today's subject: Mathematics. ~Office of Instruction
Seniors! Have you ordered your cap and gown yet? If not, you must place your order at the Student Bank
by next Wednesday. The cost is $30. Also, many of you have ordered the cap and gown but have not filled
out the form to tell us your height, weight and cap size. If you don't remember completing that form, stop by
the Bank ASAP.
The official College Board PSAT results are now available. Students who took the October
test can pick up their score reports in the Office of Instruction (before school, during lunch,
and after school). Student ID is required.
The Bookroom will be comparing each student's schedule with their textbook list & anyone
having books that are no longer needed for a class will be restricted by both the Bookroom &
the Student Bank. This means no dance tickets, no ASB card, no yearbook, no sports
processing, etc. PLEASE RETURN ALL UNNECESSARY TEXTBOOKS TO THE
BOOKROOM IMMEDIATELY. --M. Miller
Biology Olympiad sign-up deadline is today at lunch. Sign-up list is on Ms. Ng's door and
will be available at United Science meeting. –Mr. Carr
Helping Hands will meet at the east steps of the A building for a yearbook photo this Friday
at lunch. All members required. –Ms. Flores
All 11th grade girls - If you are interested in attending the Girls State Conference in June
2013, please let the Principal's Office know as soon as possible.
SENIORS: APPLY FOR THE ASIAN AMERICAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ENTERPRISES (AAEDE) SCHOLARSHIP. APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED
APRIL 30, 2013. GO TO THE GUIDANCE OFFICE TO PICK-UP AN APPLICATION
AND FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Mark Keppel students apply for the Optimist International Essay Contest. The contest is
open to students under age 19 who have not yet graduated from high school. Go to the
Guidance Office and pick-up an application. Deadline for the Optimist International Essay
Contest is January 25, 2013.
Students in grades 9-12 if you demonstrate good grades, commitment to community service
and/or work experience you are eligible to apply for the Best Buy Scholarship Program. Go
to the Guidance Office and pick-up information. Apply Dec. 26, 2012 thru February 15, 2013.

It is MANDATORY that you check your EAP status on the CSU Mentor.

You must take the EPT/ELM unless you are exempt through the EAP

It is located in the lower left hand corner of the home page.

If your status is conditional, not ready, or no record, follow the Road Map.

The Road Map indicates the next step you must take.

See your counselor if you are unsure about how to determine your EAP status.
