Nutrition Response Testing™
Nutrition Response testing is an exact and scientific analysis of the body’s health. First
developed for people, we can now apply it to animals using a human indirect tester (an
extension in the electric chain). In nutrition response testing, we first analyze your pet’s health
and then set up a health improvement program. The health improvement program will help
your pet handle what was found in the analysis of their body and condition.
All bodies are run on electricity; this electricity is in the form of the nervous system and
helps muscles function, as well as our organs. In nutrition response testing, we are testing the
body’s own neurological reflexes and acupuncture points. The nutrition response testing is a
study of how these reflexive points on the surface of the body relate to the state of health and
flow of energy in each organ and body function. This testing will indicate the energy or lack of
energy in your pet’s specific organs, tissues, or body functions.
Dr. Moorehead will use you or one of his employees as an indirect tester. The
technician will hold contact with your pet, continuing the electrical chain. The doctor is testing
your pet, not the technician, but he will use the pet’s known reflex points to test your pet’s
health. Dr. Moorehead will use his hand to contact these points on the pet, while the technician
extends his/her arm. If the reflex being contacted is active, the nervous system will respond by
reducing energy to the extended arm, the arm will weaken and drop. This drop signifies
underlying stress or dysfunction, which will affect your pet’s health. Since most pets won’t hold
their arm up willingly, an indirect tester is needed.
The next step is to test proven, highest-possible quality, specific nutritional formulas
against the weak areas, to get the reflex strong again. In nutrition response testing, we use
whole food nutrition to correct the problem and help the body regain the ability to correct itself.
We must use designed clinical nutrition because “over-the-counter” vitamins lack the essential
elements normally present in whole foods. Dr. Moorehead will use the small vials of nutrition
found in the exam room to test against the reflex points on your pet. We will then set up a
nutrition program for your pet. Depending on your situation, we might also require a change in
diet, exercise or habits.
A complete nutrition response testing analysis can be done at each visit and
therefore is able to address any new distress or dysfunction. Nutrition Response Testing tells
us when, how many, and what to use to bring about the desired result. Nutrition is healthier and
longer lasting than synthetic drugs, and also tend to cost less than drugs. Nutrition act as
preventatives and help against future serious health issues. Once we start working with you and
