CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY 2012 – 2013 Teacher Certification Requirements for PHYSICS ENDORSEMENT COURSES This major satisfies the criteria for a teaching endorsement in physics, qualifying students to teach physics at the high school and middle school and junior high level. Students should seek a teaching endorsement in a second area such as biology, chemistry, earth science, broad area science, or mathematics. SCED 324 requires admission to the Teacher Preparation Program; and 4) the student demonstrates proficiency of student learning outcomes through a program portfolio prior to student teaching.
