Actors with Down syndrome to Appear on HOUSE television show
Two young actors with Down syndrome, Matthew Von Der Ahe and Tim Borquez
worked on the FOX television show “House.” The episode “Big Baby” is scheduled to
air Monday, January 26th on FOX. Check local listings for time. The boys appear in a
Special Education class. They come to comfort their teacher when she suffers a
coughing attack.
Both actors were hired through the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles’ “Heart
& Halo Talent” a casting liaison service working with casting directors and productions

Episode Description:
When Cuddy decides to spend more time caring her baby, she hands some of her dayto-day responsibilities to Cameron. One of them is supervising House, whose patient is
a very nice special-education teacher who collapsed in class. House doesn't think that
her niceness is a good thing. Meanwhile, Foreman must make a critical decision
regarding Thirteen's participation in the Huntington's drug trial.
