Throughout the course, students have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills, problem solving strategies, as well as their communication skills. Tardiness affects all project grades and homework. 2. Excused absences are those that are requested or reported with a valid reason or submitting medical or other notices that are approved by the administration. Expect your child to stay longer in school after missing a day or two in school. 3. Unexcused absences are those that are not reported or requested.
