Subject Description
The Grade One Reading is designed to introduce and develop the basic
skills in English, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Throughout the course,
students have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills, problem
solving strategies, as well as their communication skills.

projects, and assessments will help in achieving all skills needed.

Attendance Policy
1. Tardiness affects all project grades and homework.
2. Excused absences are those that are requested or reported with a valid
reason or submitting medical or other notices that are approved by the
administration. Expect your child to stay longer in school after missing a
day or two in school.
3. Unexcused absences are those that are not reported or requested. The
child will get a zero mark for whatever is missed.
