King's College Hospital Patient Case Notes, 1840-1959
KH/CN1/249-264: Case notes, 1876-1895, of patients under the
care of Professor Isaac Burney Yeo (d. 1913), Assistant Physician
at King's College Hospital, 1869, Physician, 1876, Professor of
Clinical Therapeutics, 1885; retired in 1900 and elected Consulting
Physician and Emeritus Professor of Medicine. Yeo developed a
theory of intestinal antisepsis, constructed an inhaler for
consumptives, which bears his name, and evolved a special form
of treatment for typhoid fever.
