Ask an adult to give you a practice Spelling and Word Wall Test. You do not need to turn in the practice test. Kite Write Write each spelling word in the shape of a kite, so that it grows and shrinks. Draw a kite around each word. Copy and paste the picture into a word processing document, and type your word next to each picture. Example: Sidewalk Words Ask your parents for help with this. Use sidewalk chalk and write your words in your driveway, on your sidewalk, or in a SAFE place on your street. Ask your mom or dad to write me a note to let me know that you completed this activity. Lower and Upper Write each spelling word two times – once with all lower case letters and once with all upper case letters. Word Search Choose 10 words and create a word puzzle online: http://puzzlemaker.disco veryeducation.com. Print it out, solve it, and bring it to school tomorrow. No Consonants Write each word, but replace all of the consonants with a line. Then go back and see if you can fill in the blanks with the correct consonants to spell the words. Sentences Write ten GOOD sentences with your words. Underline each word that you use. Friendly Letter Write a letter to a friend using 10 of your spelling words. Underline each word that you use.
