REDLIGHT KING READY NEW ALBUM ‘IRONS IN THE FIRE’ FOR SEPTEMBER 10 RELEASE
Adrenaline-fueled video for “Born To Rise” out now
Tour with Sick Puppies kicks off September 11
Burbank, CA, September 4, 2013 – Fresh off headlining Live Nation’s “Ones to Watch” tour, Redlight King are
gearing up for the release of their second album, Irons In The Fire, the follow up to their successful debut
Something For The Pain. The band once again called on the producing team of Wally Gagel and Xandy Barry,
with Redlight King frontman, Mark Kasprzyk (aka ‘Kaz’) returning as the album's co-producer. Kaz also put his
artistic stamp on the album’s artwork, creating and painting the album’s cover art. Irons in the
Fire showcases Redlight King’s super-dynamic sonic and stylistic recipe that first established the L.A.-based unit as
a potent new force in the modern-rock arena.
At the forefront of the album is the first single, “Born To Rise” which hit #6 on iTunes’ Rock chart on release and is
the backbone of a jaw-dropping video fueled by Kaz’s second love, motorcycles. “I'm a musician, a hotrodder and a
motorcycle fanatic,” Kaz notes, “So hanging out with great people and riding my motorcycle for a few days while
we filmed was the most fun I’ve ever had making a video.” The video features Kaz riding his 1950 Panhead
motorcycle with a growing pack of Harley-Davidson riders and at his wing through-out the video are the
UNKNOWN Industries professional stunt Harley riders Nick Leonetti, Buddy Suttle, Kade Gates from the famed
"Harley Wheelies" YouTube video series. But it’s the last shot that provides the video’s high point and that comes
courtesy of Kaz himself. Of the shot, Kaz said, “For me, surfing my motorcycle is about dedication and loyalty for
my machine. What some people see as reckless, I see as having full control. It’s zen-like in that I’m hyper aware of
my surroundings yet I maintain total clarity. That's soulful.” The "Born To Rise" video was directed by Strati

Immediately following the release of Irons in the Fire, Redlight King will hit the road with Sick Puppies as direct
support on their fall tour which kicks off in LA on September 11th and runs through October. Redlight King
frontman and main songwriter, Kaz, has a knack for writing songs that hit a nerve and resonate with the band’s
hardcore fan base. Live, the band has wowed fans and critics alike with their incendiary performance and
anthemic songs, having already toured with AWOLnation, Shinedown and performing at some of rock’s biggest
festivals including Carolina Rebellion, Rock on The Range, Rocklahoma!, Summerfest and Uproar.
ABOUT REDLIGHT KING: Hailing from Hamilton, ONT, Redlight King made their U.S. debut with Something For The
Pain which released in 2011, landing #3 on Billboard’s Heatseeker chart, #10 on iTunes Rock album chart, while
their song “Old Man” was the 13th most played song at Alternative Radio for 2011. Performances on Conan and
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno followed and In 2012, Redlight King released the scorching rock anthem, “Bullet
In My Hand,” which immediately shot up to the top of the rock radio charts, while their song “Comeback” was
featured on Avengers Assemble the musical companion to the mega-hit film THE AVENGERS. On Irons In The Fire
the sound is grittier, the guitars crunchier and the songs razor-sharp, full of angst and rebellion but always with a
