Gold Thread Skin Rejuvenation, also known as Gold Reinforcement,
Gold Thread Implantation, Gold Rejuvenation...etc, is a method of
skin rejuvenation by means of implanting gold subcutaneously. This
method was developed in early 1960s base on an archeological
findings of golden pieces found in queens mummies of ancient
Egyptian's, which is believed to be a legendary secrets of anti-aging

in the face of patients suffered from facial palsy, where gold wires
are implanted as a conductor of nervous electrical impulses. They
also implant gold wire immediately under the wrinkles as an
aesthetic procedure for the reduction of facial wrinkles.
In 1992, Gold Thread Skin Rejuvenation was further modified by a
group of European surgeons, led by Dr. D. Orenes, where Gold
Thread made of 99.99% pure gold was coiled with a soluble surgical
suture. With help of the 1.0 mm diameter surgical needle, surgeons
can now implant gold thread horizontally and vertically across
particular body surface subcutaneously, hence increase the
efficacious area of gold thread rejuvenation (refer to picture at the
right).
Since then, Gold Thread Skin Rejuvenation has been practised
internationally and generally known as European Method. To date,
Gold Thread Skin Rejuvenation with European Method had become
a new trend in aesthetic medicines in some Asian country, e.g.
Korean, Japan, Singapore, China, Malaysia...etc.
CAUTIONS: Gold Thread Skin Rejuvenation is only permissible
with implantation of 24 carat, 99.99% pure gold thread, which are
manufactured with full compliances with European's and US health
authorities rules and regulation of medical devices. Gold Threads
mentioned in this article (manufacturer's name withheld) are
manufactured in Europe and USA respectively, with relevant
approval in the respective countries (CE and FDA). Implantation of
Gold Thread of unknown origin, WITHOUT certification of CE or
