MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Works located in the beautiful Alexandria lakes area of central Minnesota, is a dynamic
and growing gear manufacturing and machine tool company seeking a Manufacturing
Engineer.
This position’s primary objective will be to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing
processes utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication
procedures, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality
control. In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer may be tasked with identifying and
finding solutions to production issues, working with vendors to reduce manufacturing
costs, investigating alternative manufacturing methods, making capital equipment
recommendations, researching new and advanced gear manufacturing methods,
improving quality and reducing costs within the manufacturing process.
A bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is
required along with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience
operating within a machine tool environment is strongly preferred.
