DOC management includes: DOC activation, notification, staffing and deactivation; management, direction, control and coordination of response and recovery activities; coordination of efforts among neighboring American Red Cross (ARC) chapters and local Emergency Operation Centers (EOC); coordination of public information; and maintenance of the information and communication necessary for coordinating response and recovery activities. Capability Outcome: The event is effectively managed through multi-activity coordination and partnership collaboration for a pre-planned or no-notice event.
