VERSION 2.71 I. CORRECTIONS I.1. CVEDP, box n° 10 – Veterinary documents and Swiss Confederation If the goods to be dispatched to the European Union (EU) require a previous authorization from the EC (prelisting procedure - LMS), the creation of a new third country establishment is no longer permitted within the box n° 10 of a CVEDP. This does not apply to: - consignments transiting within the EU and whose final destination is a third country (applied before) and - consignments whose provenance is the Swiss Confederation (new implementation). I.2. CVEDP, box n° 19 – Conformity to the EU requirements The radio button of this box has been set to "Conform" by default. For a reminder, in the previous versions, it was set to "Does NOT conform". I.3. Certificates' search criterion – 'Local Reference Number' field For performances purposes, the previous TRACES version (2.70) restrained a certificate search on a minimal of six characters in this field. This limitation has been reviewed and you can now use four characters (instead of the previous six) to look for a certificate when using the Local reference number criterion. II. NEW CERTIFICATES II.1 INTRA II.1.1. Poultry and hatching eggs (2007/594/CE) The six certificates from the Directive 90/539/CEE have been replaced with the ones of the Directive 2007/594/EC, dating from the 29th of August 2008. This legislation adds public health measures. These certificates are available within TRACES since September, 18, 2007 and have been adapted so as to implement information on several vaccination types and details. II.1.2. Blue tongue (R 1266/2007) Certificates relating to the movement within the EU of bovines (64/432/CEE), ovines and caprines (91/68/CEE) as well as other farming ruminants (92/65 annexe E I), bovine semen (88/407/CEE), bovine embryos (2006/60/CE), ovine/caprine semen and embryos (2005/43/CE) and semen and embryos of other ruminant species (92/65 EIII) have been modified according to the articles 7, 8, 9 and the annex III 5, 6 et 7 of the regulation 1266/2007 dated October 26, 2007. These certificates have been adapted so as to take into account the movement of animals and related products from areas infected by Bluetongue and implement details on animal vaccination.
