B. (2007). Sensation and Perception. 7th Edition. Wadsworth-Thomson Learning. Pacific Grove, CA. USA. Evaluation: Test 1 Test 2 Paper: a case presentation Psychophysical package quizzes 35% 35% 25% 5% Notes: This course must be taken after successfully completing the course Introduction to Psychology (Gl/Psyc2520 3.0) or its equivalent. The tests will only be offered at the dates specified here. If you miss a test you will be permitted to write a make-up exam if and only if you contact the course director (preferably by email) within 48 hours of the missed test, and you provide us with appropriate documentation (e.g. a note from your doctor) verifying the circumstances for the missed test. There will be a penalty for late assignments: You will loose one point a day (including weekends) over the maximum possible on a given assignment. For example, if you turn in your paper (worth 30 %) 5 days late, you will loose 5 points over 30; your maximum will therefore be 25. It is expected that you are familiar with the Senate Policy and Guidelines on Academic Honesty, and with the procedures governing breach of Academic Honesty. You will find relevant information at the web site: http://www.yorku.ca/univsec/legislation/senate/acadhone.htm. The last date to drop courses without receiving a grade is March 7, 2008. Please submit your work either directly to the course director or in room 135 YH. Please make sure to write the name of your course director, the course’s title, and number on your title page.
