TSIRCOGUM
Roofing and Waterproofing Membranes
Product: TSIRCOGUM is a range of modified bitumen roofing felts offered in
different thickness and types.
TSIRCOGUM is manufactured under European guaranteed specifications.
Their high standards are due to the systematic quality control in the
manufacturing process.
Purpose: TSIRCOGUM membranes have been designed and manufactured,
for a high performance waterproofing protection. The TSIRCOGUM system
satisfies both accessible and inaccessible areas and can be used in roofing,
basements, retaining walls, bridges, parkings etc. It is also offered in a wide
variety of finishes and reinforcements.

Introduction: The membranes described below are in our standard line of
products but membranes with different thickness and reinforcement can be
provided.
How to use:
1. Preparation
The surface to be waterproofed must be rigid, clean smooth and free from any
loose particles. Any defects of the surface must be corrected before the
application of the membrane. Apply one coat bitumen primer (Tsirco-Pasta
No.3 or Tsirco-Super Penetration Primer). Allow the primer to evaporate for 3
to 24 hours depending on weather conditions.
2. Application
There are various systems for applying the Tsircogum membranes. However,
the most commonly used is the torch application. Depending on requirements
one or more layers of Tsircogum can be applied. Our Technical Department
can offer free advice on the design of the proper system.
How to Specify: All *roofs/*terraces/*foundations/*walls to be waterproofed
by the use of Tsircogum **P/**SP/**Mineral SP strictly in accordance with the
manufacturers instructions.

**Delete as appropriate and state the required weight of membrane or
thickness. Tsircogum P3, 3kg/m2 e.t.c.
TSIRCOGUM P Series: This series is economic with a single Fiberglas
reinforcement.
TSIRCOGUM SP Series: This series is polyester reinforced and is used
where the fibreglass reinforced membranes are not adequate to withstand the
applied stresses and where high tensile strengths are required. It provides
excellent resistance and to permanent deformation or puncture.

TSIRCOGUM MGP Mineral: This series is polyester reinforced (Trevira
Spunbond polyester) and has embedded slate chippings in a wide range of
colours. As it is polyester reinforced system it provides a superior solution to
waterproofing problems. It can be used on flat or pitched roofs. The
membrane described below are in our standard line of products but
membranes with different thickness and reinforcement can be provided
depending on specific requirements.
