Objective: To pursue a challenging teaching and research career relevant to pharmaceutical
sciences, and biotechnology.
Skills:

Teaching biotechnology, bioprocess technology, pharmacy, microbiology, molecular
pharmacology and related subjects, career guidance and motivation to students and
faculty. Delivering lectures as resource person in quality improvement programs,
seminars, journal clubs and workshops.
 Generation of new research ideas, projects relating to pharmaceutical, biotechnology

My job involves
 Teaching principles of applied biochemistry, microbiology, pharmaceutical statistics
for undergraduate programs, pharmaceutical biotechnology, molecular pharmacology,
bioprocess technology for masters programs.
 Research relevant to pharmaceutical biotechnology with emphasis on screening of
natural substrates for enzymes and bioactive compounds.
 Participating as resource person/delegate in quality improvement programs, seminars,
journal clubs and workshops

My job role involved
 Codon optimization, total gene synthesis, cloning of few optimized gene sequences.
 Refolding & purification of proteins using combination of chromatographic methods.
 Bioconjugation of few molecules, separation of bioactive conjugates and recovery of
free protein using HPLC.

Texas U.S.A. My project dealt with structural investigations of Chemokines.
My Job involved
 Bioinformatics of chemokine sequences, random, rational mutagenesis and selections

Uppsala University, Sweden. My responsibility was to conduct research relating to proteochemometrics and pharmaceutical pharmacology.
My job involved
 Literature search on G Protein coupled receptors, antigen & antibody sequences.
 Basic molecular biology techniques for construction of chimeric receptors.
