As you all know, the next i-COIN meeting will be held in Aalborg from September 24th
to September 26th. In order for you to start making the necessary travel
arrangements etc., here is a brief update. Please reply with an email, informing us
how many of you will be attending, so we can start booking rooms at the hotel.
We have arranged for you to stay at Hotel Hvide Hus, which is one of the best hotels in
Aalborg. The hotel is no more than 15 minutes drive from Aalborg Airport by cab.
The net rate for 2 nights in a single room, including breakfast buffet, is DKK 1700,- per
person
In the conference room you will have access to an LCD projector, overhead projector and
white boards as well as fresh fruit, coffee and ice water. We have arranged for ADSL and
wireless Internet connection is available and free of charge.
As has become customary, we will begin on the evening of the 24th of September with a
steering group meeting at 20:00. Following that, we've arranged en optional get
together. Tuesday morning we will start at 9:00 and finish around 17:00.
At 19:00, NorthDenmark EU-Office will host dinner at the hotel. Wednesday we'll spend
the morning catching up on the previous day, and at 11:00 we will venture into the
centre of Aalborg, where we have arranged a surprise for you. We will finish
Wednesday afternoon at 15:00.
IMPORTANT:
In connection with the surprise, we will be needing your full name and home
address. Please include this information when you reply to this email.
