Hail to Krishna Govinda, the jewel of (His mother) Yashoda.
We sing arati to Krishna, whose flute is so enchanting it steals the heart.
He’s the one who lights the inner light and teaches us the divine truth.
He teaches the nectar of speech of the saints and the Vedas and takes us across.
He is the knowledge of Brahma, he is the giver of wealth and the one who unites you
with the Lord. He takes away pain and increases prosperity and lights the lamp in the
heart and one can hear the bell of
“I am That” ring.

“This is the Shanti Mantra from Ishavashya Upanishad. The meaning of the mantra is
wonderful.
It is a tradition that an Upanishad begins and ends with a Shanti Mantra.
Ishavasya Upanishad (sometimes called the Vedanta Upanishad) is the last chapter of
Yajurveda. Yajurveda is one of the four Vedas which are considered to be the source
of Indian wisdom and ancient learning.”
