This is the statement of general policy and arrangements for:

Overall and final responsibility for health and safety is that of:

Introduction
There are members of the public, who are interested in the craft of beekeeping, or may be considering taking it up as a hobby and wish to visit the Apiary to see what is
involved or to get practical experience. This Risk Assessment considers the health and safety issues that may arise at the Apiary as a result of this and also other
beekeeping activities that are likely to be carried out. This risk assessment should be read in conjunction with the British Beekeeper Advisory Leaflets Number B6
“Organising an Apiary Meeting” and leaflet B2 “Bee Stings”
