Stepevi, the masters of sensual rugs introduces a new addition to its Noble Fibres Collection:
Elements. Made of %100 linen, the Elements collection is set to amaze the interiors world
with its elegance. The designs are uncomplicated yet stylish and sophisticated. A textural
interaction created by the contrast of cut and loop pile, a traditional tecqnique taken to new
heights by Stepevi in its own unique way. The sense of elegance and the desire to create a
timeless piece is further enhanced by a the understated colouways of delicate lilacs, earthy
stone shades and soft creams. Elements is set to become the must have accessory of the
season for refined interiors.
HARVEST
A modern happenings by Stepevi
Stepevi presents within its new collection a unique and luxurious rug which turns from a
traditional rug into a work of art. The woven rugs and carpets which are formed by the
culture and tradition of Anatolia, and the imageries which are dreamed with vivid colours,
gain new meaning and form by following the designs and samples which come through
today.
The respected old carpets are collected from the 1920s and 1950s Anatolian cities and
reformed by a special process; as a result they become a part of modern life. These new
carpets which make the feeling of individuality and specificity of modern people special,
contributes character to spaces and also create a visual depth by the reinterpretatioın of
traditional patterns and designs.
The collection, HARVEST is prepared by different processes. The specificly chosen Anatolian
carpets which belong to 1920s and 1950s are categorized as ethnic, modern, traditional and
European with the inspiration from their patterns and designs. These categorized Turkish
carpets and traditional rugs are restored and contribute new meaning to our spaces as
recycled ground coverings. While the new collection of Stepevi gains pattern prosperity with
the Anatolian motifs, Turkish patterns and colours, it is presented as timeless new
decoration element with the combination of east and west cultures.
DEEP
The world is not flat...
Stepevi revolutionary collection DEEP will again dazzle the interiors world. Stepevi Deep
Collection is the result of highly technical process coined 'Variable Surface
Technology' where unique, sculptural multi dimensional layers create an emotional journey
between dimensions. DEEP rugs interact with the the surrounding space creating a unique
and ever changing visual experience. A bright allegory of colours and softness of the
textures during the day gradually change to deep, introverted long shadows with the
evening light.
