September 2003 – July 2005 : Programme Manager - CIEP – French International Centre for
Pedagogical Studies – Paris, France
Duties consisted of:
- the re-organisation the archive system of the assistantship programme
- the improvement of the data entry system for all applications
- the recruitment and management of 2800 teaching assistants in France from 9 Englishspeaking countries each year
- the promotion of equivalent programmes in Ottawa, Washington and Dublin once a year
- acting as webmaster for the assistantship section of the CIEP website
- editing and translating promotional material for these programmes
May – September 2003; March – August 2002; May –October 2001:
Teacher of French as a Foreign Language for adults, teenagers and foreign engineers hired by
French multinational companies – Institut de Touraine – Tours, France
- delivering courses in oral and written French, French culture (using class textbooks, videos,
