Instructions for Playing
1. Draw hopscotch as shown
2. You need 4 players each with
a partner.
3. Player 1 throws stone inside

Head
the first square then she hops
pushing the stone with her foot
to the 4th square without it landing
on a line. If she or he gets
tired or the stone lands on the line she
will be eliminated.
4. She then misses the middle square (small head)
and makes her way to the big head. She then goes
down the middle squares to the small head. After
that she throws the stone from the small head into
the big head. The stone must not land on any lines
otherwise she is eliminated. As a prize she gets a
‘cow’ a pattern that is drawn on one of the squares.
When it is your turn you miss out the cows of the
other players. If the cow belongs to you, you can
have a rest in it.
5. The winner is the player who manages to hop and
push the stone all around the circuit (without stone
going on lines) avoiding their opponents ‘cows’. They
make it back to the small head.
6.Finally you try to throw your stone from the big
head into the small head. If you succeed…. Then you
are the winner!
