1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Infertility Treatment Regulations
1997 for the period specified in regulation 3.
2 Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5 and
28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
3 Extension of operation
The operation of the Infertility Treatment
Regulations 19971 is extended for the period
beginning on the day on which they would
otherwise be revoked by section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on
15 December 2008.
4 Expiry
These Regulations expire on 16 December 2008.

1. General Information
The Subordinate Legislation (Infertility Treatment Regulations 1997 Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007, S.R. No. 141/2007 were made on
11 December 2007 by the Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Health, under sections 5 and 28 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into operation
on 11 December 2007.
The Subordinate Legislation (Infertility Treatment Regulations 1997 Extension of Operation) Regulations 2007 will sunset on 16 December 2008:
see regulation 4.
