The TAKPsych corpus
TAKPsych (Trajectories of academic knowledge in psychology) is made up of 240
published research articles, written by non-Anglophone and Anglophone psychologists in
the time period 2000-2007. The corpus is made up of 3 sub-corpora: 1). English Medium
National (EMN), articles written by authors affiliated to non-Anglophone institutions (in
the four sites of the larger study, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain and Portugal; 2). English
Medium International (1) (EMI 1), articles by authors affiliated to non-Anglophone
institutions (in Slovakia, Hungary, Spain and Portugal); 3). English Medium International
articles (2) (EMI 2), written by authors affiliated to Anglophone ‘centre’ institutions (UK,
US).
