Subject: Re: ADDITIONAL THOUGHT: 2 Summer
retreats in 2011?
Hi Michael,
Here are more details about the Yijing/Taiji. Yes, I will
teach them
together as a combination in one week.
Chinese Shamanic Taiji Qigong is a practice for
cultivating inner
knowledge and a method for moving into Tian Ren He
Yi (the union of
the human being and the universe). It is an ancient
way of physical,
mental, and spiritual cultivation. The body is a Qi (vital
energy)
network. One will maintain wellness if the Qi is freeflowing in this
network. This ancient art and science for
strengthening inner power
and healing originated several thousand years ago in
China. This
entire workshop will be conducted in the tradition of
special shamanic
Qigong and healing. This workshop will help students
learn:
Chinese Shamanic Healing Principles
Fundamentals of Taiji & Qigong – Five Elements and
Yijing Eight Trigrams
Martial arts and healing applications of the 8
movements of Taiji
Qigong Mother Form
updated bio:
Zhongxian Wu was born on in a traditional fishing
village on
China’s eastern shore, outside the city of Wenling in
Zhejiang
Province, where the sun’s rays first touch the Chinese
mainland. He
began practicing Qigong and Taiji at an early age.
Inspired by the
immediate strengthening effects of this 5000+ year
old practice,
Wu committed himself to the life-long pursuit of the
ancient
arts of internal cultivation. He devoted himself to the
study of
Qigong, martial arts, Chinese medicine, Yijing
science, Chinese
calligraphy, and ancient Chinese music over the next
thirty years,
studying with some of the best teachers in these
fields. He
synthesizes wisdom and experience for beginning
and advanced
practitioners, as well as for patients seeking healing,
in his unique
and professionally designed courses and workshops.
He is the author of
The 12 Chinese Animals – Create Harmony in Your
Daily Life through
Ancient Chinese Wisdom, Seeking the Spirit of The
Book of Change – 8
Days to Mastering a Shamanic Yijing Prediction
System, and of The
Vital Breath of the Dao – Chinese Shamanic Tiger
Qigong. He recently
founded Blue Willow Health Center
(www.bluewillowhealthcenter.com)
with his wife Dr. Karin Taylor Wu. Please visit

I've never been to sanqingshan but have heard about
it - sounds lovely.

Yes - I did a full description. The more copy, the more
likely people are to
show up. I have some copy from previous I Ching
retreat. This will also
promote your book on I Ching. Do you have copy
from website or other source
on I Ching or Mother Taiji Form? Is there time to
teach both in one week? I
think the combination will sound very attractive. And I
don't have any other
Taiji next summer booked right now.
love, qi, blessings,
Michael
ps. I explored sanqingshan with liqiuzhu a few weeks
ago, it's a little
south of huangshan. Very nice.
Including it in my next China trip.

You COULD, if you liked, consider doing a second

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your email. Yes, I didn't receive your
previous email
but I usually don't check my hotmail account very
often. It is better
to use this account in the future.
Unfortunately, I have a weeklong training already
scheduled from June
13-19 2011 in West Virginia, so I can't make the first
week. I can do
week 2 - I prefer to do the calligraphy healing
workshop with you
guys. Please let me know if this works. Yes, I will
send the
information to my Asheville area students once we
make a final
decision.

Hi Wu,
I'm not sure if I sent the schedule previously to a
current email
address. I
have a place very close to Asheville, with a nice lake
and huge trees
and
private grounds. I plan to promote in Asheville very
heavily, and
hopefully
some of your students from Asheville will show up as
well.
Let me know if these topics and dates work for you.
