Eye contact Rinse immediately with water (15 minutes), occasionally lift upper and lower lids, until no evidence of product remains. Get medical attention. 4.3. Inhalation Move affected person to fresh air. Get medical attention. 4.4. Ingestion Induce vomiting. Get medical attention. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES 5.1. Suitable extinguishing media Form water, dry chemical agent (ABC) type, CO2, foam. At extinction, avoid the scattering of burning material and avoid creating dust hazard: do not use stick water jets. 5.2. Unsuitable extinguishing media Avoid spraying with stick water jet due to the danger of potential spreading. 5.3. Exposure hazards CO and CO2 gas, HCl and chlorinated hydrocarbons (small amounts), and aromatic aliphatic hydrocarbons may arise in a fire. 5.4. Special protecting equipment for fire-fighters Wear full protective clothing. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES 6.1. Personal precautions Do not breathe dust when dust is raised. Avoid ignition source. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use dust mask, gloves made from antistatic material and protecting glasses when dust is raised. Wash hands at the end of working. 6.2. Environmental precautions Prevent contamination of soil, drains, foodstuffs, drinks, animal feeds and surface waters. 6.3. Methods for cleaning Take up mechanically by brush and dustpan or by suction or vacuum equipment. Avoid dust generation and ignition source. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE 7.1. Handling In high temperature processing, handle with care. Wear personal protective equipment. Handle in accordance with industrial hygiene and safty practice. Ensure good ventilation. Do not smoke, eat or drink at the workplace. 7.2. Storage Store in a dry area, avoiding high temperature, sunlight and exposure to water.
