The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE (100%) School Psychologist:
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Must be Wisconsin DPI certified or eligible to be certified as a school psychologist.
 Experience with Data-Based Decision Making & Accountability related to RtI and PBIS models.
 Knowledge of Infinite Campus, AimsWeb and EduClimber preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Conduct evaluations for initial special education identification and re-evaluations. Score/Interpret results of
evaluations; prepare reports and develop recommendations for not only the schools assigned but also
private school evaluations.
 Case manage initial IEP evaluation team meetings, facilitate interaction of parents and staff, and explain
results and recommendations to parents. Discuss evaluation results with child, teacher, parent, and
administrator as appropriate to develop appropriate educational programming for students.
 Complete final IEP team evaluation report, collect reports, and submit IEP evaluation paperwork.
 Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and Student Services staff with issues related to
student learning, behavior, mental health, and social/emotional difficulties.
 Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop academic and behavior intervention plans for
students.
 Serve as a member of the SST teams, data teams, and PBIS teams.
 Participate in research and program evaluation of RtI and PBIS systems.
 Promote ethical, legal, and professional standards related to the field of school psychology.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
