4. Objectives of the course
The studies of social and communication psychology will present students with phenomena of psyche that occur in
human communication and interaction, will enable them to systematize knowledge about interaction regularities of
individuals, groups and peculiarities of their social behaviour in different communities and improve their communication
skills.
5. Subject annotation or abstract
Social and communication psychology analyses, identifies and forecasts phenomenon and regularities of social behaviour
and perception in educational and other communities. During practical classes, students will get acquainted with
problems and regularities of social roles, social perception, self-perception and self-evaluation, attitudes and stereotypes,
group structure and development, interpersonal conflicts and their practical application.
