1. FORMALIN MAIN REAGENT ( FMR)
It is one of kit tester reagent for determine formalin content of food and food
Ingredient, as a illegal preservative or formalin contamination. This detection
instrument as a reagent tester form, in 15 ml plastic bottle packed. It can be used for
formalin ditection on food and food ingredient, with the procedure operation as
follow: To place approximately one gram sample in clean glass test tube, add 2- 3
ml of FMR reagent, shake well for 3- 5 minutes. Please to let a moment ( 3- 5
minutes). If solution colour of food or ingredient sample was turned from yellow
colour to pink or blue colour , it indicated that positively test. The deep of colour
solution depend on formalin concentration on food samples. If the solution sample
test showed no colour changer, or still yellow colour Its indicated that negative test.
Formalin reagent kit tester (FMR) can ditect formalin content on food less than 5 ppm
concentration. To know more quantively the level of formalin concentration on food
detection, should be compared to formalin colour standart.

2. BORAX MAIN REAGENT (BMR)
It,s one of the kit tester reagent for borax determination or detection on food and
food ingredient. This detection instrument as a reagent kit tester form, in 15 ml
plastic bottlepacked. This reagent kit tester can be used for determined or detection
borax content as a food additive or food preservative, with the procedure operational
as follow : To plece approximately one gram of powder or grain of food samples in
dropplate porcelain or white plate porcelain. Add few drops of BMR reagent. Please
to let for moment ( 3- 5 minutes), If the food indicated positive detection, the colour
of the food will turn from yellow colour to cherry red colour. If the food colour no
changer or still yellow collour, It showed that negative test result.

3. COLOUR MAIN REAGENT (CMR)
It,s one of the kit tester reagent for determine or detection illegal colour additive on
food and some colour of drinking water . This detection instrument as a reagent kit
test form in 15 ml plastic bottle packed. This reagent can be used to determine and to
ditect illegal colour additive in food and soft drinks. The CMR reagent kit tester are
supplemented by two reagent supplement, both are ammonia reagent and petroleum
reagent, with the operational procedures as follow :
1. Place one ml or one gram sample in the test tube
2. Add 5 drops of ammonia supplement reagent
3. Add 2 or 3 ml of petroleum ( Bensin/ car petroleum)
4. Shake well between 3- 5 menutes
5. Let the solution be separated, and pour off petroleum fraction into another test
Tube.
6. Add the petroleum fraction with 2- 3 ml CMR reagent, and shake well for 3- 5
menutes.
7. Let the solution be separated
8. Please observer to the bottom layer, colour appear or not. The positive detection
result, if colour appear on the bottom layer.

4. YODIUM MAIN REAGENT ( YMR )
It,s one of the instrument reagent kit tester for determine or detection yodium content
on yodium salt. This instrument as a kit tester reagent form, in 15 ml plastic bottle
packed. This kit tester reagent can be used to determine or detection yodium content
on the yodium salt, with the procedure operation as follow :
1. Place one gram of powder or grain salt sample on the test tube or white porcelain
2. Add few drops ( 2- 3 drops) of the YMR reagent
3. If salt samples showed blue colour directly , It indicated positive test
4. To know the quantitative Yodium content of the yodium salt quantively , we can
measure by using standar colour yodium solution.
