Interest badges
We would like lads to gain further badges through show and tell at the end of each
evening when based at Wilton hall






Book readers badge – bring in and talk about favourite books
Pet care badge – bring in family pet and talk about how it is cared for
Hobbies badge – talk about a favourite hobby with props
Collectors badge – bring in a collection and talk about it
NEW !!! Sports Enthusiast badge – talk about favourite sport to include
1. Basic rules
2. Main teams and personalities
3. Main events and championships/cups etc
4. Describe an event attended
Musician – play two tunes to the pack & talk about your instrument
We would like Cubs to try to gain all these badges
Calling Help
Steve and the gang enjoy running Cubs, we wondered if any parent would like to become
a uniformed or hoodie leader. The only commitment would be coming along to most
pack nights. There are still experienced leaders who can run the evenings and do the
planning.
The group needs extra help from parents or grandparents from either gender. All the
current leaders are current or ex Cub parents, who have been bitten by the bug, please
consider helping. We need help on either night
We are not getting any younger and would welcome some additional help and ideas;
there have been a number of events that we have not participated in as we have not been
able to attend due to other commitments, as the pack grows larger so we really do need
extra help.
We cannot promise the world but anyone interested would get a free Hoodie
