Many of these packets are “composites” of different sources. For example, at the Pre-GED and GED reading levels, we use composite packets to emphasize reading comprehension skills including Main Idea/Details, Cause/Effect, Inference, Conclusion, Unstated Assumption, Application, and Evaluation. For content emphasis, we have packets for Government, Political Cartoons, and Economics (Social Studies). Science and Language Arts--Reading are set up similarly. We use several teacher made packets for writing skills (sentence structure, paragraphs, and essays).
