Locator test - Determines level of TABE assessment you need, or if you can skip TABE assessment all together and go straight to the Official Practice Tests (OPT) during one of our Prove Yourself Days. TABE assessment/ Diagnostic – Pinpoints students’ strengths & weaknesses in areas of Reading, Math and Language. Once you have completed your TABE assessment, you will have a conference with our center director to determine your study path and plan the best way forward for you to earn your GED. If your TABE scores are above a 9.0 level, you can proceed with the Official Practice Tests. You will need to pass all 5 OPTs with a score of 450 or higher in each area before you are eligible to be registered to take the OFFICIAL GED TEST. If your TABE scores are below a 9.0 level, you will need to work with your academic advisor and discuss which of the four study paths would best suit your needs. 1.
