Accordance: pursuant to Article 33 of the Statute for Prevention and Control of Infectious Animal Disease Details: 1. The recognized foot and mouth disease, rinderpest, contagious bovine pleuropneumonia, African swine fever, glanders, highly pathogenic avian influenza, Newcastle disease, and rabies free countries (zones) are listed in Table 1. Countries (zones) not listed in Table 1 are recognized as infected areas. 1 2. Countries (zones) with incidences of bovine spongiform encephalopathy are listed in Table 2. No domestic/wild bovine, domestic/wild caprine, domestic/wild ovine, meat-and-bone meal, meat meal, bone meal, poultry meal, blood meal, animal fat and oil for feed, animal greaves for feed, bovine serum, and ovine/caprine serum or other animal products that may transmit bovine spongiform encephalopathy originated from the listed countries (zones) are allowed to import into the Republic of China. 3. The recognized H5 or H7 subtype low pathogenicity notifiable avian influenza infected countries (zones) are listed in Table 3. Imports of poultry, birds and related products from countries (zones) listed in Table 3 are suspended, the suspended items and import requirements shall be the same as from highly pathogenic avian influenza infected countries (zones). The suspension period shall not be more than 1 year, if necessary Council of Agriculture has the right to prolong the suspension period according to the disease status. 4.
