Proposal to change a course title
o Old title – MBA Hospital Management
o New title – MBA Health Care Management
The course had a previous title change from MBA Hospital
Administration
The course team have consulted with the Faculty’s international
marketing office and regional international officers
The current title is considered to be too narrow; changing the course
title will enhance the prospect of attracting applications from a wider
international professional health care base
The new title will only apply to new intakes from September 2014
With effect from September 2014

Proposal to change a course title
o Old title – Early Childhood Professional Studies
o New title – Early Childhood Education
The course title was chosen when the graduate role for working with
young children in England was ‘Early Years Professional Status’; the
role has been renamed ‘Early Years Teacher’ hence the proposed title
change to reflect this change in the sector
International students searching UK Masters courses are more likely
to search using the term ‘Early Childhood Education’
The proposed title change will also reflect the commonality with MA
Education with which several modules are shared
Existing students on the course will be given the option to graduate
with either the current or new title
With effect from September 2014

Proposal to delete a course at the following delivery locations:
o Cambridge campus
o Chelmsford campus
o College of West Anglia
o University Centre Harlow
o University Centre Peterborough
The course will continue to be delivered at all other associate colleges
franchised to do so
On the Anglia Ruskin’s main campuses and at the Joint Ventures the
course will replaced with the proposed new BSc (Hons) Business
Management with effect from September 2014
Current students will be supported in their original module diet during
2014-15; discussions are underway with students to explain that it is
proposed that they will study the new Level 6 curriculum in 2015-16
Course deletion with effect from March 2014
