Repeat (R) students who repeat a course will have only
the latest grade counted toward their GPA, whether or not
the latest grade is higher. Grades of I, W, AU, or NC do
not replace an earlier grade. When repeating courses,
complete a Repeat Grade Form and submit the form to the
Records Office.
Duplicating Courses and GPA Calculation
1. Subtract the number of hours you are duplicating from the total hours attempted for all semesters.
2. Subtract the grade points (if any) for the courses you are duplicating from the total number of grade points earned for all semesters.
3. Divide the new total hours attempted by the new grade points earned for the corrected GPA.
