PROFILE:
Mr. Wigle has earned a reputation as a networking professional with superior network
engineering and diagnostic skills. His immediate previous contracts have been with the
Department of National Defence as a Senior Network Engineer and Architect; Canadian
International Trade Tribunal as a Network Architect; Valcom Ltd. as a WAN Engineer; BCE
Emergis as a Network Design Engineer on the former Government Enterprise Network
(GeNET) and as the Network Manager responsible for design, implementation and
management of computer networks for the DND in Germany.
He is naturally inquisitive, accepts challenges readily and will not let go of a problem until
resolved. Mr. Wigle has extensive experience and background in configuration,
implementation and fault finding of computer systems. Quick to employ new technologies,
Mr. Wigle brought great success to projects integrating desktop systems into networked

 Monitor server performance, provide advice on LAN/WAN performance issues,
and report, recommend and implement corrective action.
 Perform verification tests and integration of deployable Defence Wide Area
Network (DWAN) hardware and software configurations, including the
SATCOM (Inmarsat) portions and the dial-in circuits and equipment.
 Monitor server and communication devices for all remote networks including, but
not limited to, detailed communications monitoring (with particular emphasis on
bandwidth usage and latency), server performance, back-ups, configuration, etc.
 Use provided tools to remotely backup router/switch configurations from remote
networks.
 Use and maintain syslog facilities for devices on remote networks.
 Maintain and create “Intermapper” diagrams for deployed networks.
 Design LAN sub-net and Virtual Private Networks as needed in support of
Deployed Operations.
 Produce network design documents for new and existing international camps for
all aspects of the network operation (as examples: servers, workstations, routers,
switches, electrical, climate systems).
 Receive/ review/ resolve “trouble tickets” for Deployed Operations.
 Perform requirements analysis for current Deployed Operations.
 Provide impact assessments and engineering analysis on assigned RFCs and RFSs
 Develop procedures for J6 Ops regarding the configuration, implementation,
repair, disposition and utilization of communications, networks and software used
