Canadian History Independent Study – Magazine “Defining Moments in Canadian History” Task: Alone you are to create a Canadian history magazine called, “Defining Moments in Canadian History”. It will look like a “Top 5” list/compilation You are to choose defining moments in Canadian history that helped to shape Canadian/Canada’s identity – look for the most prominent ones, the ones you feel really made an impact on shaping who we are as a country. It will be in the form of a “Top 5” magazine Outline: Part 1: You must have a TITLE PAGE/FRONT PAGE to your magazine. (Includes title of magazine, front picture and a small blurb explaining that this magazine will be a top ten of Canada’s greatest historical events) Part 2: You must have an INTRODUCTION – 1 paragraph (approx. 6 – 8 sentences long).
