COST 719 web site : http://www.knmi.nl/samenw/Cost719/ The final conference of the COST 719 european research program will take place from Monday July 3 to Wednesday July 5 in the Grenoble – Saint Martin d’Hères university campus. The language of the conference will be English. We also request and welcome contributions (papers, posters) by non COST 719 members. The provisional program is: o GIS technologies: standards and policies - Spatial data and metadata - Interoperability and web based GIS - Ongoing and future developments (temporal GIS, ADM, WIS) o Spatialisation - Gridding meteorological and climatological information - Methods and applications - o GIS applications meteorology climatology climate - related environment (hydrology, glaciology, air pollution,…) forecast and prediction The conference will include several invited speaches and approximately twenty contributions. The best ones will be published, probably by Hermes Publishing (London). The fee will be as low as possible and anyway less than 100 euros (with a special price for PhD students).
