She pauses and says the target vocabulary word again. She pauses before starting on the next sentence. (tree, leaf, grass, green). When students hear the word green with a target word they will hold up the green card and the target word card. Activity 2 Students will stand when they hear tree, sway when they hear leaf, and squat when they hear grass. When they hear the word green students will hold up a green card while making the appropriate gesture for the target word. Wrap-Up Teacher: What did you learn today?
