HALESTORM TO “ReAniMate” ONCE MORE;

NEW EP FEATURES ELECTRIFYING TAKES
ON CLASSIC TRACKS BY AC/DC, FLEETWOOD MAC, DAFT PUNK AND MORE;
“ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” ARRIVES ON OCTOBER 15TH
Atlantic recording group Halestorm has unveiled details of their new EP.
“ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” will arrive on October 15th.
The EP marks the acclaimed hard rock band’s first new release since their stunning
GRAMMY® Awards triumph earlier this year, as well as the follow-up to 2011’s
“ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP.” As with its predecessor, “ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP” sees
Halestorm putting their distinctive brand on a strikingly eclectic collection of classic songs,
including legendary tracks by Judas Priest, AC/DC, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, Marilyn
Manson, and Daft Punk (see attached tracklisting).
“Like our first ‘ReAniMate’ EP, the songs included here are a collection of both our
favorite songs and songs to challenge ourselves,” said Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale.
We decided to go more ‘bare bones’ with this EP, meaning minimal production with live,
gritty performances. We recorded this EP the week of the Grammys, so the excitement and
debauchery you hear through your speakers is very real. We hope all our fans have as
much fun with ‘ReAniMate: 2.0’ as we did!”
In the meantime, Halestorm is riding high on the national Active Rock airplay charts
with their latest hit single, “Here’s To Us.” That track – which first shot to #1 on iTunes’
“Top Rock Songs” chart after being featured in a February 2012 episode of Fox’s hit series,
Glee – is but one of the many stunners that saw the Pennsylvania-based band’s sophomore
release, “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” debut at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart
while also making a top 15 entry onto the overall Billboard 200. The album’s phenomenal
success was fueled in large part by the single, “Love Bites (So Do I),” which made history by
ascending to #1 at Active Rock radio outlets nationwide, marking Halestorm as the firstever female-fronted group to top the format’s airplay ranking. The group followed up the
single with a second #1 at the format with the song “Freak Like Me,” and “Love Bites (So
Do I)” went on to win the band their first-ever GRAMMY® for “Best Hard Rock/Metal
Performance” at this year’s 55th annual event.
Acclaimed as one of modern hard rock’s most explosive live acts, Halestorm is
currently blazing upon stages across North America, with a variety of headline and festival
dates scheduled through early October. From there the band will cross the Atlantic for a
major European arena trek alongside Alter Bridge. Additionally, the band just announced a

Formed by frontwoman Lzzy Hale and her brother, drummer Arejay Hale,
Halestorm has been hailed far and wide as an incendiary force in modern hard rock.
“HALESTORM” made a top 5 debut on SoundScan’s “Hard Music” chart upon its 2009
release, simultaneously bursting into the top 40 on the comprehensive Billboard 200. The
album subsequently sold more than 300,000 copies, and half a million cumulative tracks.
“THE STRANGE CASE OF…” – once again produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical
Romance, Daughtry, Flyleaf) – arrived in 2012 and drew copious critical acclaim to match
its spectacular popular success. Billboard praised the collection as “full of chugging riffs,
wailing solos, drums that kick like a boot to the gut, and never-out-of-style soft/loud
dynamics that lead to massive choruses,” while Hale became an unadulterated rock icon
with two memorable turns as cover star of Revolver’s annual “Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock”
issue.
Like any great hard rock outfit, Halestorm made its bones via countless North
American gigs including headline tours, festival showstoppers, and treks alongside such
artists as Shinedown, Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, and
Disturbed.
