Master of Education in Educational Leadership
With an emphasis in Bilingual Education/ELL
The MEd in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Bilingual Education/ELL is an
ideal degree for aspiring principals who plan to work in districts with substantial
populations of English Language Learners. The degree would be a valuable asset to
those interested in supervising/managing Bilingual Education and/or ELL programs at
the district level.
The program is 42 hours and qualifies the candidate to sit for the TExES Principal
Exam. (Two years of classroom teaching experience are required before you will be
eligible for principal certification).
Requirements for Admission

Completion of GRE, including writing test (Admission status will be determined
by GRE scores and GPA on last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework.)
