RIBA Honorary Fellowships 2016 nominations
The RIBA is calling for nominations for Honorary Fellows for 2016.
Within the terms and spirit of the Charter and in accordance with the bylaws,
to recommend to Council men and women of merit who have made an
outstanding contribution to the quality of architecture, the achievement of the
profession and the purposes of the Institute. Any person who is not an
architect, nor is qualified to practice as an architect, may be elected as an
Honorary Fellow.
The selection will be by a jury, the RIBA Honours Committee, appointed and chaired
by the President who will report the jury’s recommendations to Council for approval.

Nominations must be made by an RIBA chartered member or Honorary Fellow and
be supported by the relevant material listed below.
You should contact a member of the Honours Committee to request they support
your nomination. Please email Jennifer Kean for contact details if necessary.
We ask that all nominators notify the nominee in confidence that their name is being
put forward. They should work with them to provide the material requested for
judging purposes. Nominations are not made public and will not be considered unless
the requirements below are met.
All nominations must be received by email with this form attached to the Awards
Office, jennifer.kean@riba.org and tony.chapman@riba.org by Friday 26th June
2015.
All nominations will be considered by the committee at a meeting in July. The
recipients will be awarded on the occasion of the Royal Gold Medal celebrations in
London in February 2016.
