Plaintiffs’ Application for Default Judgment against Defendant Eric De Blasi (“De Blasi”)

came on for hearing on March 21, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the above-captioned case. Based on the
3
pleadings filed, the arguments of counsel, and the records in this case, and for good cause shown, the
4
Court hereby finds and orders as follows:

1.
This Court has jurisdiction over the subject matter and the parties.

2.
This Court has entered default against Defendant De Blasi.

3.
Plaintiffs have adequately demonstrated that Defendants American Brother
8
Corporation Inc. and Gallant Group Ltd. are alter egos of at least Defendant De
9
Blasi.

4.
Plaintiffs have adequately stated causes of action for breach of contract, unfair
11
competition under the California Business & Professions Code, and fraud against
12
Defendant De Blasi.

5.
Plaintiffs have demonstrated that, as a result of Defendant De Blasi’s conduct,
Plaintiffs have suffered damages.
For all the reasons stated in Plaintiffs’ Application for Default Judgment Against De Blasi,
16
this Court hereby orders Defendant De Blasi to pay Plaintiffs compensatory damages in the
17
amount of $951,710.00, punitive damages in the amount of $300,000, and attorneys’ fees in the
18
amount of $15,117.00. The Court also orders Defendant De Blasi to pay Plaintiffs pre-judgment
19
interest at a legal rate of ten percent per annum, which as of March 21, 2014 is in the amount of
20
$92,042. Defendant De Blasi and other defaulting Defendants American Brother Corporation
21
Inc., Gallant Group Ltd., Troy Holland, and TMG Financial Services, Inc. shall be jointly and
22
severally liable for this sum.
