TRANSPORTED FROZEN SEMEN BREEDING CONTRACT
This certifies that _______________________________________________________,
herein referred to as MARE OWNER, has engaged one service to the stallion, SMART LITTLE JAEBAR,
Registration Number 3346036, for the mare ____________________________________________, for the
20____ season by FROZEN TRANSPORTED SEMEN. Caminiti Cutting Horses, as agent and owner of
the stallion, SMART LITTLE JAEBAR, will be referred to as BREEDER.
This service is subject to the following terms and conditions:
BREEDING FEE - the stallion breeding fee is $2,500.00, which will be payable in full upon
execution of this contract.
SHIPPING EXPENSE – Prior to shipment of Frozen Semen, the MARE OWNER agrees to pay
the stallion Breeding Fee in full to Caminiti Cutting Horses before transportation of Frozen Semen will
occur.
The first shipment of Frozen Semen will include two doses. MARE OWNER will be responsible
for all shipping and handling charges. If additional Frozen Semen is needed, the next two doses will be at
no charge except the MARE OWNER will be responsible for the shipping and handling charges for the
additional Frozen Semen shipment.
COOLED SEMEN HANDLING – The MARE OWNER agrees to comply with all American
Quarter Horse Association or American Paint Horse Association requirements, as applicable, concerning
the use and handling of Frozen Semen.
MARE OWNER RESPONSIBILITY – The responsibility for conception is on the MARE
OWNER. A qualified, experienced licensed veterinarian competent in the use and handling of Frozen
Semen should perform the insemination. If the Mare fails to conceive from the first insemination, MARE
OWNER is required to have the Mare cultured by a licensed veterinarian and infused, if necessary. If the
Mare fails to conceive from the second insemination, MARE OWNER is required to furnish a report from a

qualified, experienced, licensed veterinarian explaining the failed inseminations and medical determination
of the Mare’s ability to conceive before any further Frozen Semen doses will be shipped.
LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE – The MARE OWNER is guaranteed ONE “live foal”. “Live Foal”
requires that the foal stand alone and nurse for twenty-four (24) hours. If a live foal does not result from
the breeding, the MARE OWNER will be entitled to rebreed the Mare to the Stallion at no additional
breeding fee for the following breeding season. MARE OWNER will be responsible for all shipping and
handling charges incurred as a result of the rebreeding. MARE OWNER must notify Caminiti Cutting
Horses within 48 hours after the time of foaling that the Mare did not produce a live foal. Within fourteen
(14) days after the MARE OWNER’S notice, MARE OWNER must provide to Caminiti Cutting Horses a
certification that the foaling was an attended foaling, accompanied by a statement from a licensed
veterinarian giving the particulars required to substantiate the failure of the mare to produce a live foal and
stating that the insemination was conducted in accordance with this Agreement.
WAIVER AND LIABILITY - MARE OWNER agrees to diligently try to settle the Mare.
However, if the Mare does not settle, MARE OWNER will hold Caminiti Cutting Horses harmless from
any loss or damage. Caminiti Cutting Horses is not liable for sickness, injury or death of the Mare and/or
her offspring. Insurance for the Mare and her offspring is the sole responsibility of the MARE OWNER.
SUBSTITUTION - In the event the Stallion, SMART LITTLE JAEBAR, dies or otherwise
becomes unfit for service, there will be no substitution of stallions. Caminiti Cutting Horses will refund to
the MARE OWNER the stallion breeding fee and the parties of this contract will be released from any
further rights, obligations and liabilities hereafter. If the Mare dies or becomes unfit for breeding, the
MARE OWNER may substitute with another Mare.
MULTIPLE EMBRYO TRANSFER – If more than one embryo is produced from this Stallion
Breeding under this Agreement, and if multiple embryos are transferred, then MARE OWNER must notify
Caminiti Cutting Horses within 48 hours of transfer of embryo(s). If embryo transfers result in multiple
pregnancies, then MARE OWNER must pay Caminiti Cutting Horses the Stallion Service Fee for each
pregnancy.
FROZEN SEMEN HANDLING – MARE OWNER is responsible for all facets of breeding the
mare and agrees to comply with all AQHA and APHA requirements concerning the use and handling of
FROZEN SEMEN. MARE OWNER agrees that a licensed veterinarian who is qualified and experienced
in the use and handling of frozen semen will perform the insemination. MARE OWNER agrees to use
his/her best efforts to perform the insemination procedure in a manner to obtain maximum conception rate.
MARE OWNER agrees to use all FROZEN SEMEN provided by this Agreement for the Mare named in
this Agreement and no other.
BREEDER’S CERTFICATE – A Breeder’s Certificate produced by the appropriate Association
will be issued to the MARE OWNER after all fees and expenses have been paid in full and upon
notification to Caminiti Cutting Horses of the birth of the foal.

REGISTRATION PAPERS - A COPY OF THE MARES’ REGISTRATION PAPERS (front
side only) MUST ACCOMPANY THE SIGNED CONTRACT. The owner recorded on the registration
papers at the time of breeding will be recorded on the Stallion Breeding Report.
BINDING & AGREEMENT – This contract, when signed by the MARE OWNER and the
BREEDER and accompanied by payment of the breeding fee, shall be a binding contract on both parties on
the above terms and conditions. This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties
concerning the breeding of the MARE and the STALLION and supersedes all other agreements or
understandings between the parties whether oral or written concerning the breeding of the MARE and the
STALLION.
DISCLAIMER – BREEDER makes no representation or warranties, express or implied,
regarding the delivery of the cooled/frozen semen delivered under this agreement, and shall not be
responsible for delayed, lost, or mishandled deliveries.
